Learning Support Assistant (16.5 hrs per week) job summary
16.5 hours per week
working times: Monday 10.30am - 2.15pm, Tuesday - Friday 10.45am - 2.15pm.
Term Time + 1 week
We are looking for a highly motivated Teaching Assistant with relevant experience in a primary school to join the Millfield team from January 2025. You will need to have a commitment to the school’s ‘Millfield CARES’ values and vision and join our enthusiasm and drive for all to achieve within a happy, vibrant, caring and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will join a key stage team who plan and work closely together, thus helping to provide supportive and collaborative working conditions.
We are looking for someone who:
I Is passionate about learning and working with pupils with a range of different needs

Encourages children to develop in all aspects of their learning, including socially and emotionally
Has an ability to reflect on and develop their own practice
Has an understanding of the primary and/or EYFS curriculum
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills including diplomacy and resilience
Has a willingness to develop new ideas, show creativity and think ‘outside of the box’, relishing opportunities created by change
Is a team player who can contribute to the wider life of the school
