City Academy Norwich seeks to recruit enthusiastic professionals to be part of our expanding SEND Team. Whilst experience is always valued, we are looking for people with a growth mindset as we continue with the development of our department. The team play a key role in supporting our ethos of “Every Teacher as a Teacher of SEND”, facilitating SEND provision within the school and providing learners with highly personalised support to ensure success in all aspects of their development.
Learning Support Assistants are deployed in a variety of ways including delivering in-class support, small group or 1-2-1 interventions, as well as support within our in-house specialist Nurture classrooms, Cognition & Learning Base and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Base.
