Learning Support Assistant job summary
Job Purpose:
To support the learning, development, and well-being of all pupils, including those with complex educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), ensuring an inclusive, nurturing, and supportive environment.
You will:
- Share our commitment to building great learning communities for our pupils
- Support the vision and values of our school Inspire pupils with a passion for learning
- Have an understanding of specific learning needs and styles to adapt teaching to support all pupils
- Have the ability to plan effectively to enable multi-tasking
- Have a desire to help all pupils succeed
- Have compassion towards the needs of the pupils.
- Have the ability to exchange verbal information clearly and sensitively with pupils and adults
- Have the ability to work with a range of colleagues
- Work collaboratively across the school
