Learning Support Assistant job summary

Temple Mill Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Learning Support Assistant, to start from September 2025.

The successful candidate will have an attention to detail, will work to a high standard, and will seek to ensure a positive educational environment through their work. In return, The Howard Academy Trust offers a wide variety of benefits, details of which are outlined below.

This is a part time (27.25 hours per week), temporary role, Term Time Only, paid based on the NJC pay scale D2 point 4-11 (calculated on a pro rata basis £15,028 - £16,793 - FTE £24,404 - £27,269).

This is a child-linked position, and is temporary until the child leaves school or if there are changes made to the Education, Health & Care Plan.

The working pattern will consist of Monday-Thursday 8:50-15:10, and Friday 8:50-12:45, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
