Learning Support Assistant job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team and make a meaningful difference to the lives of our pupils.
The Role
Working under the guidance of teaching and senior staff, you will play a vital role within the classroom, supporting children to access learning and thrive in a stimulating and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to meet the child’s individual learning needs
Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions
Adapt your approach with patience, understanding, and effective communication
Help create an engaging, positive learning environment
Monitor and record progress, sharing insights with teaching staff
Provide medical support in line with training and school policy
