Learning Support Assistant
Contract: Part-time, Permanent - 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
Salary: NJC Scale 2, SP 3-4 (FTE: £24,795 - £25,185 / Actual: £20,732 - £21,058 per annum)
Start date: ASAP
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Learning Support Assistant.
You will be required to:
- Support students to be successful in their learning.
- Lead small group intervention as directed by the SENCO.
- Work on a one to one basis with students.
- Provide personal and medical care and support for individual students (full training will be provided)
Therefore, we are looking for someone who:
- Can work independently but contribute to a strong team ethos
- Is willing to work flexibly
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Is able to solve problems and be proactive
- Has an excellent sense of humour
