The Role

Great Marlow School has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our SEN team to help us deliver an even better service to the students.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to support a student with Maths, Chemistry and Physics (A Levels) primarily.

This role will be primarily supporting one student but will also be supporting other children with Special Educational Needs in their lessons.

No experience is necessary as full training will be given; however, qualifications in Maths, Chemistry and/or Physics at A level or higher would be a necessity.

Great Marlow School is a large co-educational secondary school located in the town of Marlow, Buckinghamshire. The school has around 1,450 students aged 11-19, with over 200 attending the sixth form.

Founded in 1961, the school converted to academy status in 2011 and in the last six years has invested £9 million in developing the school facilities including a state of the art sports centre, sixth form centre and performing arts accommodation. The Redgrave Sports Centre was named after former pupil and Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave, he opened in the centre in May 2013. The school and the sports centre are a 'hub' of the local community and host events and activities throughout the evenings, weekends and school holidays.
