We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our team of Learning Support Assistants. Aylsham High School has a strong record of supporting students with SEN and these roles makes a valuable contribution to this. You will play a vital role in actively working to support access to learning for students and provide general support to the teacher in the management of students in the classroom. This will involve establishing good relationships with students and responding appropriately to individual needs. An interest in Food and Nutrition would be beneficial.
The post holder should have good literacy and numeracy skills, the ability to relate well with children and adults, work on their own initiative and possess good basic ICT skills. Experience of working with young people aged 11-16 is essential and behaviour support experience would be an advantage.
