What skills and experience we're looking for

Looking for a casual role supporting SEN pupils?

We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible Early Years professionals with a full and relevantEarly Years qualificationto Level 2 or Level 3 to join our school as Bank Staff. You we be employed as a SEND Learning Support Assistant, with the potential opportunity to move into a permanent role, should this become available and be of interest to you.

We are building a reliable support team to cover staffing needs during periods of sickness, holidays, and other absences. For the right candidates, there may be opportunities to work in our Early Years and The Reef (SEN Provision). The hours will fall between 8.40 – 3.25pm. Monday to Friday, depending on your availability.

You will be working at Curledge Street Academy. We will provide Safeguarding, and any other relevant training required to support you in working effectively within our settings.

This role is particularly well suited to someone with previous Early Years experience who is looking to return to work gradually or who needs flexibility around existing commitments.

Key requirements:

  • Level 2 / Level 3 Early Years qualification (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a nursery or school setting
  • A flexible and reliable approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
