What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidates will be:

  • Experienced in working with children preferably in a Teaching Assistant role.
  • Willing to work as part of a team and in partnership with the teacher.
  • Experienced in supporting pupils with a range of needs and able to demonstrate understanding towards them. (For example: autism and learning difficulties).
  • Ideally have first-hand experiences of running interventions.

Further details about the role

The successful candidates will be class based and primarily work as support for children with special educational needs involving some one to one time. The positions are full time and the hours of work are 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday (term time only which includes 5 inset days). The posts include lunchtime cover from 12pm to 1pm supporting children outside and also supporting children in class with meal times.
