Salary: TPLTSS3 £5,914 - £6,007 (actual salary)

Location: Castle Batch Primary School Academy

We are seeking one individual to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child in Lower Key Stage 2 with SLCN and SEMH, ensuring they can access a differentiated curriculum. Ideally, candidates will have experience with either SEMH or Speech & Language disorders/communication differences.

Position 2

Contract type: Fixed term until 31st August 2027, subject to external funding

FTE/Hours: 30 Hours per week

Working weeks: Term Time Only (44.6)

Salary: TPLTSS3 £17,742 - £17,781 (actual salary)

Location: Castle Batch Primary School Academy

We are seeking one individual to provide dedicated 1:2 support for two children in Upper Key Stage 2 with SEMH and or SLCN, ensuring they can access an adapted curriculum and access the classroom where possible. Ideally, candidates will have experience with either SEMH or SLCN needs.

The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit 2 enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join Castle Batch Primary School Academy.

Are you an enthusiastic educator with SEMH experience ready to provide bespoke academic and emotional support at Castle Batch? We are looking for someone to turn complex needs into classroom success - if so, we’d love to hear from you!

About the role

  • Work under the direction of the class teacher to ensure learning targets are achieved and the child is supported to achieve their best in the school environment.
  • Develop and deliver a bespoke curriculum promoting classroom engagement.
  • Promote wellbeing by encouraging them to develop good relationships with others, develop their self-reliance and self-esteem and help them adjust to new settings.

About you

  • Excellent and effective communication skills.
  • A good standard of education/ three or more GCSEs including maths and English at Grade C minimum or L2 literacy and numeracy.
  • Some experience of working with children with SEMH needs.
  • Some experience of working with children with Social Communication needs.
  • An ability to adapt and respond to the needs of the children.
