The role:
At Etone College, we want the best for every single child and our Learning Support Assistants are vital in achieving this. They assist young people with special educational needs and disabilities to raise aspirations, attainment and progress. There should be no barriers to learning and strong Learning Support Assistants will help young people be successful in school while preparing them for success in their future careers.
About you:
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, supportive and compassionate individual committed to assisting our pupils and providing a positive learning environment.
Your skillset will include:
• Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build a rapport with our SEN pupils;
• Display strong organisational skills to implement methods of effective tutoring in liaison with class teachers and monitor pupil progress;
• Show confidence in having ability to work one to one, in small groups and with whole classes.
