What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) who would be excited by the prospect of working to support pupils with special educational needs in our EYFS, establishing a culture of high expectations, care and kindness.

They would also support the school’s morning extended hours sessions for families.

We are looking for staff who:

  • The post is 35 hours per week.
  • The working hours are 8.10am – 3.30pm
  • You will be paid on the NJC scale, starting at spine point 3.
  • The pro rata salary for this post is £24,027 FTE and £19,462 pro rata
  • This post is term time only (which includes 5 inset days).
  • This post is for a September 2025 start.
  • Fixed term contract 01/09/2025 to 31/08/2026 this may be extended.
  • The LSA will be based in our Reception Class

Sires Hill Primary Academy opened its doors for the very first time in September 2023, and welcomed our new 2 year olds into the school in September 2024. The school will eventually become a two form entry primary school with a nursery with children aged 2-11.

Sires Hill Primary Academy works in partnership with Didcot Primary Academy, following the same curriculum and benefitting from the expertise of an established primary school.
