Learning Support Assistant job summary

You will have:

Understanding the needs of children in an educational setting

Knowledge of how children learn

Ability to use technology to track and review student progress

Ability to work collaboratively with others

Willingness to undertake training as required to support students/school needs including those with special needs

Ability to relate well to children, parents, teaching staff and other colleagues.

Establish productive working relationships with pupils and promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils

A calm and professional approach

A particular interest in maths and/or English coupled with the ability to support the progress of children in these areas
