What skills and experience we're looking for

Currently we are seeking to recruit Learning Support Assistants. Applications are invited from enthusiastic, passionate individuals who have a genuine interest in working to support pupils with special educational needs to achieve the very best outcomes. The Learning Support Assistant post will require working with pupils across a broad spectrum of SEN, including pupils with ASD and challenging behaviour. Experience of working / volunteering with children and young people is essential for this role and more specifically experience of special educational needs or disabilities is desirable.This is a physically active job; Learning Support Assistant daily duties involve manual handling, personal care and using Team Teach strategies. You need to be conscientious, reliable, hard-working and be able to work on your own initiative as well as being able to support the team.
