About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Support Assistant with either a background of Special Educational Needs or Early Years.

As an LSA, you will support pupils from our Early Years setting by learning through play, communication and the development of increasing independence. They will support other team members through planning, resourcing and assessing on a day to day basis alongside ensuring robust systems of safeguarding and pupil safety are ensured at all times. The LSA will be fully aware of the learners within the Enhanced Resource Provision (ERP) and their individual developmental and academic starting points. The LSA will provide bespoke support for SEMH, communication and Autistic needs within Foundation Stage and the ERP. It is anticipated that they will be flexible and use their initiative to ensure that all opportunities to support all learners are maximised during the course of the school day and beyond. 

About You

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within an Enhanced Resource Provision, Special Educational Needs setting or Early Years Environment. Candidates will also be educated to GCSE standard pass rates with a minimum of a Level 2 relevant qualification.
