Learning Support Assistant (LSA), 1:1 support job summary
Singlewell Primary School is looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will support the pupil throughout the school morning, helping them to access learning, develop their independence and feel safe, happy and included within school life. We are looking for someone who can build a positive relationship with the pupil, respond to their individual needs and provide consistent and encouraging support.

This is initially a three-month fixed-term appointment and is linked to the placement of an individual pupil.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, reliable class teacher to work in our popular school from September 2024. This position is for a maternity cover.
Upon successful completion of the maternity cover a discretionary bonus may be awarded.

Singlewell school has a warm, family feel and is situated in a pleasant, leafy site on the outskirts of Gravesend. The school has been expanded to two form entry from September 2016 and had a new building constructed. We are now at full capacity with two classes in each year group from Reception through to Year 6. All classes have support assistants. We are very lucky to have modern buildings and facilities and spacious grounds.
Our Ofsted inspection recognised that Singlewell is a Good school. Progress and attainment are high across the school and teaching is good. It stated that attendance is high, behaviour is good and children enjoy coming to school. Pupils are eager to learn and work enthusiastically together. There are very positive relationships between pupils and staff.
