Learning Support Assistant/Midday Assistant job summary
We are seeking to appoint 2 enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our caring, friendly and hard-working team. As well as having a strong understanding of building strong relationships with adults and children, we are also looking for someone who can use their initiative. The post may involve working with children to support one to one and lead small group interventions. You will also be part of our Midday Assistant Team to support pupils during Lunchtimes.
These roles fixed term due to Maternity Cover.
Vacancy 1 - Monday & Tuesday 08:30 - 15:30
Vacancy 2 - Thursday & Friday 08:30 - 15:30
The successful candidate will need to:
hold a relevant qualification at NVQ Level 2 or above
Have some experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs
Have a caring nature
Be able to communicate effectively with children and adults
Be able to work as part of a team
