Learning Support Assistant & Midday Supervisory Assistant job summary
Total Hours - 28.75 hours per week /term time only
Split LSA 24.75 hrs per week / MDSA 3.5 hrs per week
Fixed term until July 2025 – start ASAP
LSA Scale point 5-6 - from £12.85 per hour, depending on experience.
MDSA Scale point 2 - £12.26 per hour
St Katharine’s is a thriving primary school in the heart of Savernake Forest. We are looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic LSA/MDSA to join our supportive, hardworking and dedicated team, who is interested in working with children across the Primary phase. This post has arisen out of unplanned and unforeseen circumstances and as such we are offering this on a fixed term basis in the first instance until July 2025. Prior to the end of the summer term, this contract will be fully reviewed with the strong prospect of a more permanent role. The successful candidate will need to work closely with the class teacher and others to deliver an excellent learning experience for all children.
We are looking for someone who:

- Can employ strategies to manage behaviour effectively and positively.
- Can work collaboratively as part of a team and is able to use initiative.

- Has a GCSE pass in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Experience of a previous role working with children is desirable.
