Learning Support Assistant - Nursery job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our caring, friendly and hard-working Nursery team. As well as having a strong understanding of building strong relationships with adults and children, we are also looking for someone who can use their initiative. The post may involve working with children to support one to one and lead small group interventions.

Working pattern: Monday to Friday 08:25 - 15:05

The successful candidate will need to:

  • hold a relevant qualification at NVQ Level 2 or above

  • Have some experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs

  • Have a caring nature

  • Be able to communicate effectively with children and adults

  • Be able to work as part of a team
