Job / Person Summary

We wish to recruit a Learning Support Assistant (Pupil Premium) to join an excellent team who support our students in their learning and daily school life. We are looking for someone who is caring, and who has experience of working with children and young people in either a voluntary or paid capacity. Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided. This is a term time appointment and the working hours will be from 8.50am – 3.05pm daily, including CPS INSET days.

This role is for 27.9 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. Salary: £16,403 per annum (FTE: £24,796 per annum, B Grade).

We welcome flexible working.

We reserve the right to close a vacancy earlier than the advertised date if we receive applications that meet the criteria.

Prior to interview, an online search will be conducted to identify any past or current incidents or issues that might affect your suitability to work with children and undertake this role. This is in line with guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education. Please note this online search will be carried out only on publicly available information and be limited to issues relating to your suitability to work with children and/or in a school environment. Issues that arise will not automatically be a bar to your employment at this school.

Further information about the job

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
Visas cannot be sponsored.
If you're interested in teaching or training to teach in England as an international citizen, we can help you understand your next steps.
