Learning Support Assistant (RR 21) job summary
Sharnford is a small village school of three classes, we strive to ensure that the children who come to us are given every opportunity to develop socially and emotionally as well as academically. We are very much part of the community of Sharnford and develop good links with the village by regular visits to St Helen's church as well as by participating and contributing to local events. Being part of a multi-academy trust ensures we can offer not only a broad, varied and rich curriculum but also a wide range of many valuable learning experiences too.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Learning Support Assistant to join our highly committed team and willing to work across the schools in EYFS, KS1,and KS2. Experience in support of high needs children would be preferable. The successful applicant will be:
- Experienced in a similar role
- Experience of support of high needs children preferable
- Highly organised and able to set clear priorities in managing their workload
- Able to communicate clearly and positively with staff, parents and pupils, both in person and in written communications
- Able to work calmly under pressure
- Able to show a 'can-do' attitude and seek solutions to problems
- Able to work flexibly and creatively
- Happy, co-operative and able to work on own initiative
- A strong team player
- A person who demonstrates excellent initiative

This post will be for 30 hours per week , 38 weeks term time + 30 hours to include Inset days and training Paid at Grade 5 .7 - £12.65 per hour
