Learning Support Assistant job summary

Salary: actual starting salary is £26,018.33 per annum rising annually to £27,549.12 per annum (NJC Scale 4 inclusive of Outer London Weighting)

Hours: 36 hours per week, term time only (plus INSET days)

Monday to Thursday, 7:45am - 3:30pm and Friday, 7:45am 3:15pm or

Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 3:15pm and Friday 7:30am to 3:00pm

The school is also happy to consider part-time applications.

We are looking to appoint a learning support assistant to work with our teachers to support the teaching and learning of our SEND students in classes, small groups or individually, including attending to the physical needs of students with disabilities. There will also be opportunities to work with students with autism on a one-to-one basis. Applications are invited from people with a background of working with secondary age students in a learning environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic team in the Learning Support Faculty, and to make a significant difference to the lives of our current, and future students.

The successful applicant will:
