Learning Support Assistant job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and reliable full-time Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly staff team to support students in class, small groups and individually on a 1:1 basis with their learning needs. Ideally the successful candidate will have:- GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or the equivalent) Excellent English speaking skills Strong communication skills Previous experience of working with 11-16 year olds within an education environment is desirable The school is committed to the safeguarding, welfare and protection of children and young people and expects all of its employees to share this commitment. This post is exempt under the 'Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974' and the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. References will be requested prior to interview.
