Learning Support Assistant - Science job summary
Under the direction of the science and SEN department assist with the care of individual groups of pupils, to support their learning and development, aid their subject knowledge and ensure their safety within the science department.
- to assist teachers with educational activities in the classroom to support pupils learning and development
- to work with individuals and groups to support expectations of acceptable personal and social behaviour and on basic tasks help to make these parts of the learning experience
- to have a can-do attitude with a keen interest in science
- to the the ability to follow instructions from the teacher to ensure practical sessions run smoothly
Our current vacancy is for 31.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.15pm, this also includes a 30 minute lunchtime duty. The role is term time only plus 5 inset days.
