Immediate start

We are looking to recruit a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to provide direct support to students with social communication differences within school.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 and small group support to enable students to access the curriculum, develop their understanding of social situations, develop independent learning and maintain their emotional wellbeing.

If you have the passion to be a key part of the Learning Support Team and have the skills, enthusiasm and commitment to work with young people with social communication differences, we would like to hear from you.

Experience of working in a school setting is desirable. An understanding of social communication differences would be beneficial but not essential as training will be offered to the successful candidate.

Candidates are encouraged to visit the school or have an informal discussion about the role with Miss H Davies, Assistant Headteacher and SENCO. Arrangements for this can be made by contacting the school office on 0191 384 3887.
