Learning Support Assistant job summary

What are we looking for? Someone who:

Is an experienced classroom assistant with a proven track record of supporting children with EHCPs and support plans

Will provide support across a range of contexts according to the needs of pupils: in class, in 1:1 and small group settings, and in our resource base, directed by the SENCO

Can collaborate with teachers to create a supportive and engaging environment for students

Show initiative and the ability to adapt learning to suit the needs of pupils

Can work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and co-operation

Support children consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs

Be willing to continually improve their practice through professional development opportunities

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
