Specific Conditions of this post:
• The post-holder will be expected to undertake any appropriate training provided by the Trust to assist
them in carrying out any of the above duties.
• The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the protection of children and vulnerable adults, as
appropriate, in accordance with any agreed policies and/or guidelines, reporting any issues or concerns
to their immediate line manager.
• The post-holder will be required to promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security in the
workplace. To include ensuring that the requirements of Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH, and all
other mandatory regulations are adhered to.
• To carryout duties with full regard to the Trust’s Equal Opportunities and Dignity at Work Policy.
• An Enhanced Disclosure with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) will be undertaken before any
appointment can be confirmed.

Staindrop Academy is a very well regarded, high achieving and popular school at the heart of a rural community. Set on the western edge of the historic village of Staindrop and overlooking rolling fields and farms, Staindrop is without doubt one of the most attractively situated schools in the region.
Staindrop Academy is recruiting a number of staff due to the rapid growth we have seen over the past two years. While we are delighted with this growth, we remain a small school, working closely with our local community and partner primary schools.
