Talavera Junior School is an oversubscribed three-form school (currently four form) nestled in the heart of Aldershot. This role could be placed across the collaboration for the right candidate.
We are looking for a learning support assistant/midday supervisor to start work in January/February 2025.

We are looking for a dedicated learning support assistant who:
- Sets high expectations for themselves and their pupils
- Can teach children the skills they need to become independent learners
- Has excellent knowledge of Key Stage 2 and the expectations for learning or a dedication to continue own learning journey
- Be a calm, positive and effective communicator, confident in liaising with all colleagues, children, parents, governors and outside agencies
- Be able to use initiative and thrive through a ‘can do’ approach to solving problems
- Be flexible in the role and tasks undertaken and can work with frequent interruption
- Is a great team player who would really enjoy contributing to the school
- Demonstrates a commitment to pupils' development and pastoral care
- Is able to build strong relationships with children and meet their individual needs
