Learning Support Assistant - Term time only job summary
Our vision at Winslow CE School is ‘Let your light shine’. The rainbow symbolises God’s unconditional love for each individual. We seek to reflect that light in all we do: in our community, both local and wider, our communication, both word and action, with curiosity and courage, and with care and compassion for everyone, inspiring a love of learning.
Are you someone who can genuinely make a difference to children’s learning? Are you dynamic, resourceful, and ready to inspire? Do you believe in nurturing confident, independent learners while showing compassion and understanding every step of the way? And can you uphold the Christian vision of our school while championing our five core values?
We are looking for an exceptional Learning Support Assistant who can build strong, positive relationships with our children and provide high‑quality one‑to‑one support where needed. You’ll bring solid numeracy, literacy and communication skills, along with the ability to listen actively, respond thoughtfully, and work proactively with pupils. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, enabling you to connect with children and model excellent practice in supporting special educational needs.
In return, you’ll join a dedicated, motivated and supportive staff team who believe wholeheartedly in teamwork and building positive relationships across the school. You’ll also have exciting opportunities to contribute to shaping our school’s future. At the heart of everything we do is a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our children. If that’s what drives you, we would be delighted to hear from you.
This is a fixed term post with a view to becoming permanent.
