Learning Support Assistant job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive team on a part time, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, helping to shape the educational experience of our wonderful pupils. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant to play a key role in supporting children. Our school has a passion and understanding of what effective learning is and we help to inspire our pupils to be the best they can be. What we are looking for
- A Learning Support Assistant with experience in supporting children
- Able to develop an understanding of the educational, welfare and social needs of children
- Able to develop positive relationships with young children
- Able to stay calm and objective when presented with challenging behaviour
- Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
- Confident and clear communicator with parents
- Flexible with regard to classroom work

The Details
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: GLF Associate 2 Point 1 £23,914 to Point 16 £25,393
Actual Salary: £7,352.96 to £7,807.72
Hours: 13 hours per week (Mon & Tues 08:30-15:30 -Term time only - 38.6 weeks)
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: 15th July 2026
