Learning Support Mentor job summary

The role of Learning Support Mentor will work closely with all members of our school community to enrich the education of our children. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Promoting the general progress and well-being of individual pupils and of groups of pupils assigned to you.

Providing guidance and advice to pupils on educational and social matters, having regard to the status of the school.

Making records of, and reports on, the personal and social needs of pupils.

Communicating and consulting with parents of pupils where it is seen as appropriate.

Communicating and co-operating with persons or bodies outside the school.

Participating in meetings arranged for any of the above.


This is a term time only role, and the successful applicant will be required to work 8.30 am - 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
