Further details about the role

The Blandford School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who wishes to support students who are underperforming in English Literature and English Language. The goal is to enable the least confident to develop core skills in English Literature and English Language, to become independent learners and raise their level of attainment. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking and growing Learning Support team and be responsible for planning and delivering English lessons one-to-one or in small groups. The successful candidate will teach in a designated classroom and work across the school to help teachers adapt classroom learning. They will work closely with our Head of English and Inclusion Lead to develop this role.

This position is suited to Primary School, Middle School or Secondary School teachers with experience of delivering Literacy or English lessons and who are passionate about raising the attainment of the least confident.
