Learning Tutor
Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit a fixed-term, full time Learning Tutor based at Corsham Primary School (both sites).
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (between 8.15am and 16.00pm) – Monday finish time 16.45pm
(39 weeks per year, term time only, including TD days)
Required to start: as soon as possible
End of Contract: 4th April 2025 (but with the possibility of extension dependent on staffing changes)
Salary: Grade F9, £25,119 pro rata, per annum (actual salary £21,606 per annum).
Corsham Primary School is located in the picturesque Wiltshire market town of Corsham, near Bath, and is arranged over two sites located at either side of the town. Pound Pill site offers 14 classes and the Broadwood site houses 11 classes, both supporting children from Reception to Year 6. The tasks and responsibilities will include:
Covering classes across both sites for PPA release time, staff sickness absence and CPD
To communicate with teachers with regard to planning and preparation ahead of covering each class and providing feedback for lessons taught.
Keep accurate registers of attendance when covering classes.
To participate in meetings which relate to the curriculum, administration, organisation and pastoral arrangements of the school (where appropriate).
