Leathersellers’ Federation Scholarship - Learning Mentor job summary
We seek a dedicated Learning Mentor to join our ground-breaking student scholarship programme, generously funded by The Leathersellers’ Company. Since its launch in September 2022, the programme has already transformed students’ lives.
This position is available on a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2028. If the scholarship programme proves successful, we plan to expand it with additional funding.
Our scholarship programme aims to empower Key Stage 3 students by providing tailored support. We want them to achieve their academic and personal best while fully engaging in their school experience. As part of the scholarship, students receive comprehensive support, including mentoring, extracurricular activities, and weekly tutoring. Our goal is to enhance both their well-being and academic success.
Reporting to the Lead Learning Mentor, you’ll play a vital role in providing effective support to scholarship students. Your mentoring expertise will contribute to their success within the programme.
Salary Scale: Scale 6 (point 18 - 20) £37,509 - £38,637 pro-rata
Hours: 35 hours a week, 39 weeks a year (term time only including 5 INSET days)
