• Full time equivalent salary: £38,049 to £45,445 per annum (pro-rata) full time equivalent, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Do you have a passion for hair and want to inspire the next generation? Whether you’re already working in education or an experienced industry professional looking for a new career path, we have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to join our Hair Curriculum Team.

We are seeking a passionate and industry-experienced Lecturer in Hairdressing to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across a range of hair programmes. The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Hairdressing qualification and have experience in barbering. Ideally, you will also have at least one year’s teaching experience.

Using your industry knowledge to unlock potential, you’ll support learners to develop their practical skills, creativity and professional standards in a realistic salon environment. You will plan and deliver effective lessons, assess progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement and progression.

With a strong understanding of current hairdressing and barbering trends, techniques and industry expectations, you will help prepare learners for successful careers in the sector. You’ll be an excellent communicator, a team player and able to manage deadlines while maintaining high standards of delivery.
