What skills and experience we're looking for

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Lecturer in Mathematics to join the Berkshire College of Agriculture team. This is a permanent, full time position with a salary ranging from £31,633 (T1) up to £45,341 (T11), depending on qualifications and experience.

As a Lecturer in Mathematics, you will join our Ofsted rated 'Good' Colleges Group, teaching at the Berkshire College of Agriculture campus. You will work with post 16 learners, helping them develop the numerical, problem solving and analytical skills they need to succeed in GCSE or Functional Skills Maths. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that support learners with a wide range of starting points and experiences. Working closely with Learning Support Assistants, you will adapt your teaching so that every student can take part and make progress.

You will use assessment to understand where learners are, address gaps in their knowledge and help them improve over time. You will also play an important role in encouraging attendance and building learners' confidence in Maths.

We are looking for someone who cares about their subject, communicates clearly and can motivate students who may not always find Maths easy or enjoyable. Please pay particular attention to the supporting statement of the application, making sure to include details of how you meet each of the essential criteria listed on the person specification.
