Leisure Assistant job summary

Key Tasks:

  • Ensure all public areas are clean & presentable.

  • Carry out daily testing of the facilities.

  • Manage leisure centre bookings for members and guests.

  • Comply with all standard operating procedures and emergency action plans.

  • Book in treatments and ensuring that all clients are well looked after before and after treatments.

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to all users

  • Working cohesively as part of a great team to deliver the best service and standards.

  • To ensure all health and safety procedures and policies are adhered to.

  • To be a pool responder in an emergency (If qualified, training can be provided)

  • To maintain the safety and well-being of customers using the facilities

  • Maintain the highest standards of service, presentation and professional advice offered to customers using the fitness facilities.

  • To complete inductions, fitness assessments and programme prescriptions in a professional manner (If qualified)

  • To assist, supervise and motivate all fitness facility customers.

  • Perform any other duties as directed by Management.
