The Academy is a nationally recognised sport and leisure provider, which includes a fitness suite and youth gym, dance studio, floodlit 4G football pitch, netball courts, sports hall and climbing wall amongst its facilities. You will be joining the Company at an exciting phase, where we are promoting the use of our leisure and estate facilities to local community groups, clubs and businesses to support community cohesion.
The Academy encourages students to be aspirational, and has supported many students in successful applications to top universities, as well as pursuing progression routes into local colleges and industry. The school population of students and staff reflects the City population, in being a harmonious mixed faith and mixed culture community.
The successful candidate will assist the Academy by promoting the leisure facilities in all aspects of operational, marketing and communication activities, including:
Budget Management;
Ensuring staff and other resources are appropriately managed to provide a sustainable service to our customers and community stakeholders;
Strengthen existing customer relationships and develop new opportunities with the local community;
Develop a marketing strategy to promote the community, leisure and education facilities across the Academy;
Develop a communication strategy that will ensure a consistent approach to leisure and facilities communication across the Academy;
Develop a new website to promote the use of all Academy facilities;
Develop relationships and projects that enable revenue activity to be implemented.
You will actively supervise and coordinate the operations of all areas of service. The successful candidate will demonstrate a flexible attitude to working hours. You will be required to work a shift pattern that covers the operational hours of our facilities, which operates until 10pm daily.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
