Lettings Co-ordinator with Caretaking responsibility job summary
Start Date: September 2026 (or earliest availability)
Contract: 18-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: 30 hours per week (37 hours per week will be considered)
Working Pattern: Hours will vary according to daily lettings and will typically fall between 2:30pm and 10:30pm, Monday to Friday
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, reliable and customer-focused individual to join Airedale Academy as a Lettings Co-ordinator with Caretaking Responsibility. This varied role combines the day-to-day management of our lettings programme with responsibility for ensuring our facilities are safe, secure and welcoming for all users. We are seeking someone who is flexible, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and can provide excellent service to both the school community and external hirers.
You will/have:
- Under the direction of the Premises Manager, co-ordinate the facilities for out of hours lettings and school events.
- Act as a designated key holder and be responsible for the school premises, and for the routine / non-routine (emergency) closing of the premises.
- To report trespass, theft or unauthorised parking of vehicles to the Premises Manager.
- Ensure that buildings and the site are secure, taking remedial action if required (including undertaking or arranging emergency repairs).
- Experience of working with the general public.
- A First Aid Qualification to willingness to undertake one.
- A good understanding of Health & Safety and manual handling procedures.
- A commitment to promoting the general health, safety and welfare of all site staff and visitors.
