An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 1 Teaching Assistant at Horton Grange Primary School.

Horton Grange Primary School is a 3-form entry primary school for children aged 2-11 years, which has an excellent reputation within the local and wider community. We are seeking a motivated and committed practitioner who is passionate about driving continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and pupil outcomes. The successful candidate will inspire and engage children, staff, parents, and Governors through a clear vision and genuine enthusiasm, while contributing positively to whole-school initiatives. You will foster a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive, demonstrating strong communication skills and the confidence to manage sensitive conversations professionally. You will work with children who are enthusiastic and eager to learn, bringing joy and curiosity to every school day.

The role involves working with children who are curious, enthusiastic and eager to learn, making each day both rewarding and enjoyable. A proven track record of supporting children with SEND is essential, as is a commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Applicants must hold GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent), demonstrate fluency in English at an Advanced Threshold Level, and, where applicable, hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate.
