What skills and experience we're looking for
- Will be fully committed to safeguarding the children in our care
- Will adhere to our rigorous safeguarding and child protection policy and procedure and health and safety policy and procedure at all times
- Has a full and relevant Level 2 and or Level 3 qualification
- Has experience of working with 3-11 year olds
- Understands the varied needs of children and families
- Is caring, patient, empathetic and resilient
- Is a team player with the ability to work collaboratively and use own initiative to maintain a happy professional environment
- Has excellent communication skills with sufficient understanding and use of English to ensure the well-being of the children

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; pre-employment checks will be carried out, references will be sought and successful candidates will be subject to a DBS and other relevant checks with statutory bodies. There is the opportunity to work additional hours in a teaching assistant capacity inside school hours working with school children between 9am-3pm, should the applicant be interested.
