Level 2 TA job summary

We
are looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at St
Catherine’s for 5 days per week, from 08.30 to 15.45 daily (33.75 hours per
week). This position is offered as one year contract initially and will
commence as soon as possible. Candidates should have experience of, or a
passion for, working with SEND children.

You
must have sound knowledge of how children learn and a number of strategies to
encourage learning. You will need to be
sensitive to the special needs of individual children and be able to work as
part of a team. Previous experience of
working with special needs children and running intervention groups would be
useful. Candidates will need to demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm and have
excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

salary for this role will be within the range stated and dependent on
qualifications, skills and experience.
