About the role:

Students at Queensbury School work on a differentiated National Curriculum but some achieve up to GCSE levels. Life skills and social communication are key learning skills for our young people. Queensbury School is looking for keen and talented Level 2 Teaching Assistants who are committed to child centred learning, able to plan and deliver the curriculum in an exciting and stimulating way, can communicate effectively with children, staff and parents and are able to work as part of a team.

You may be required to work across either site either Queensbury school or New Horizons.

Education Impact Academy Trust is a MAT incorporating Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School and Mayfield School. Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 – 25 years) Special School which provides very high-quality education for 257 pupils and young people who have physical disabilities, and/or complex medical conditions. Queensbury School provides for 245 students who have MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health).
