Part time: 22.5 hrs per week over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, for 39 weeks per year

The governors of Wisewood Community Primary School are looking for a permanent Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support learning in our school.
Experience of working in a primary school and appropriate qualifications would be an advantage, but we are looking for a positive, cheerful, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant who will be able to work as part of a team and support learning across the school.

Wisewood Community Primary School is situated in a residential area in the North West of the
City, close to both the urban area of Hillsborough and to open countryside towards Loxley
Common and Bradfield. It has a catchment area consisting of Council and Housing Trust
houses on the Wisewood Estate and also some private housing.
The number of children we have on Free School Meals is 57%. 30% of children are on the
Special Needs Register. There are some ethnic minority children. The school has approximately 149 children and the seven classes in the school are housed in a 1930’s building around two quads. Our classes consist of one class per year group We also have a pre-school attached to the school and we have forged strong links with the group.
