Level 2 Teaching Assistant job summary
Hall Green Infant School is looking for 1 full-time permanent Level 2 Teaching Assistant, and 1 full-time fixed-term L2 Teaching Assistant (1-year contract ending 31st August 2026), to start on 1st September 2025.
Applicants should be experienced Teaching Assistants, who are committed, hardworking and enthusiastic, and flexible in their ability to support learning. They will be supporting classes across the school and also carry out small group or individual intervention work.

It is essential that you can demonstrate experience of:
supporting children to achieve their best across the curriculum
experience of working with infant aged children
engagement with young people to motivate them to learn
working with children with SEND
working on 1:1 or small group SEND interventions
planning as part of a teaching team
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
We are looking for someone who:
- has NVQ TA level 2/3 qualification or a relevant degree.
- is committed to KS1/early years development
- is passionate about supporting children
