What skills and experience we're looking for

Ryecroft Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of an Level 2 Teaching Assistant in either Early Years or Mainstream. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy. The successful candidate will work under the instruction of teaching/senior staff to support access to learning for children and provide general support to the teacher in the management of children and the classroom.

The ideal applicant will:

  • Have good numeracy/literacy skills
  • The ability to relate well to Nursery and Reception aged children and adults
  • The ability to work constructively as part of a team
  • Experience working with or caring for children of relevant age
