We are seeking to recruit a caring, motivated and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Palmers Cross Primary School. The school is proud to feature a 30-place Specialist Speech and Language Resource Base, designed to provide exceptional support for pupils with communication needs. This purpose-built facility has been recently redeveloped to the highest standard, offering a modern, state-of-the-art learning environment. Thoughtfully designed to meet the specific needs of its learners, the Base provides a calm, nurturing, and highly effective setting where children can thrive, develop their communication skills, and reach their full potential.

Experience of working with children with SEND is essential and confidence to work across all Key Stages is important. The role will require working with pupils with high needs either 1:1 or in a small groups. We are looking for a practitioner who can work with sensitivity and understanding and have patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. This will be a rewarding position for someone who believes that all children can and deserve to succeed.
