What skills and experience we're looking for

St John’s Thornham are looking to appoint an inspirational and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs by providing high quality support within the classroom. Our school is a place where children and staff flourish through strong partnerships with parents enabling our children to meet their full potential. The team is committed to children's well-being, achieving high standards and providing the best opportunities. The school is set in the middle of a farming community surrounded by fields yet not far from Rochdale and Oldham with good links to the motorway and public transport networks.We are delighted to have recently joined the Cranmer Education Trust and are excited about working alongside our family of schools.
Our school is currently half form entry but will be growing to become one form entry from September 2024 with an extension on our build starting very soon.
