Our school is based on the principle that children learn best in a positive, encouraging, safe and secure atmosphere.

Our school philosophy is outlined in our Mission Statement. It reflects our commitment to Catholic education in a happy, effective and inclusive environment. Our school motto, 'Let Your Light Shine' encapsulates our school mission.
St Vincent's Catholic Primary School works as a team in which parents, staff, governors, and the Holy Angels and St Vincent's parish community are all involved in the education of our children. We firmly believe that a genuine home, parish and school partnership is essential in order for your child to, 'Let their light shine'.

We are proud of our outstanding status and our strong reputation for high standards of teaching and learning. It is our vision for every child to be happy; to develop a passion for learning, to achieve their potential and prepare them for the next stage of their learning.

We aim to achieve our vision by ensuring the highest levels of achievement, through the highest quality teaching. Our curriculum is exciting and challenging. We inspire children and open doors to ambition and possibilities; striving for and achieving excellence.
